Refund & cancellation policy
Scope
This policy applies to paid Secure Data engagements: UTXO Ledger Audit & Rebuild, Address Registry Maintenance, and Reconciliation Sessions. The website itself has no product checkout; payments occur by invoice or in-person settlement after a written estimate.
Deposit for flagship audits
UTXO Ledger Audit & Rebuild bookings require a 30% deposit to reserve the date. The deposit is refundable in full if you cancel at least seven days before the scheduled start. Cancellations inside seven days forfeit the deposit unless we cancel or we agree a reschedule.
Short visits
Reconciliation Sessions and single Address Registry visits paid after completion: if you cancel more than forty-eight hours ahead, no fee is due. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged 50% of the quoted session fee to cover reserved table time.
Rescheduling
One complimentary reschedule is allowed with at least forty-eight hours’ notice, subject to calendar availability. Further reschedules may be treated as a cancellation and new booking.
Work already started
Once table work begins, fees for time already spent are non-refundable. If we cannot complete an audit for reasons under our control, we refund the unused portion of prepaid fees after deducting documented time spent.
Partial refunds
If an engagement ends early by mutual agreement, we may issue a partial refund reflecting unfinished stages (for example, rebuild pages not yet produced). Materials we prepared specifically for your session (custom worksheets already printed) are non-refundable once produced.
Processing
Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fourteen business days. Contact contact@secure-data.digital with your booking date and name used on the estimate.
No digital goods
We do not sell downloadable software licenses or subscription access. Refunds therefore concern session fees and deposits only.
